FINAL PUSH Aimed at Helping Residents Enroll Before Last Minute Rush, Skip Long Wait Times, Avoid Potential Tax Penalty for Not Having Insurance

WHAT/WHO:

Time is running out for individuals and families to select and enroll in a health insurance plan for 2015. As of today, there are only three days before the February 15th deadline. The urgency to make sure District residents are enrolled in quality affordable health insurance before the 2nd Open Enrollment closes is the major thrust of DC Health Link’s FINAL PUSH campaign this week. In addition to the six enrollments sites that are open daily, DC Health Link is hosting a number of special enrollment events throughout the city to make it convenient for residents to sign up. Late night enrollment, extended hours at the Call Center, One Touch Enrollment events, Valentine’s Day partnerships with local florists and the addition of faith based enrollment sites on Sunday, are features of the FINAL PUSH campaign.
