What/Who:

DC Health Link (DCHL) launches its Small Biz Summer Task Force tomorrow, Thursday, June 5 at Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton’s annual Small Business Summit. The Task Force Team will use the event as an opportunity to increase SHOP (Small Business Health Options Program) enrollment numbers through a targeted outreach approach that will focus on providing small businesses with personalized education, advice and attention.

During the summit, DC Health Link will facilitate a workshop, offer on-site enrollment counseling and support, as well as provide health insurance information to DC small businesses. Throughout the day, DC Health Link will have trained experts available to educate and assist employers one-on-one with the health insurance enrollment process.

The summit which takes place at the Washington Convention Center will allow small businesses in DC to foster relationships with lenders, insurers, consultants, accountants, attorneys, government agencies and contractors that will ensure their opportunities to succeed.
