DC Health Link will launch the 2nd Open Enrollment Period for District residents, small business owners and their employees to enroll in affordable health insurance plans that meet their needs and budgets. Trained experts will be on-site to assist with the enrollment and renewal process, to answer questions and to provide information about the District’s new online marketplace. The Fair will open with a brief program at noon followed by a variety of activities including enrollment booths, exhibits, information tables, FREE health screenings, entertainment, live broadcast, Zumba classes and Yoga demonstrations, Moon bounce, arts and craft, storytelling and other activities for children. Local sports personalities have been invited along with local community and government leaders who will offer encouraging words to residents throughout the day about the importance of maintaining healthy lifestyles and obtaining quality health insurance.
