Jobs Not Guns Recruitment Fair event sponsored by the DC Gun Violence Prevention Coalition offers on-floor trade demonstrations showcasing a variety of employment and training opportunities to build careers. Equipment demonstrations by the D.C. Army National Guard and additional trades will allow District residents, especially youth, to touch and feel the equipment used by each trade and information on potential careers. Trades that have been invited to set-up demonstrations include: the US Armed Forces, DC Fire/EMS, DC/State/Federal Law Enforcement, Trade Unions, Hospitality, Automotive, Food Services, Construction, Healthcare, Barbering/Beauty and more. DC Health Link outreach teams will be onsite to distribute Open Enrollment information to residents attending this event.
