The Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Health Braintrust, with the office of Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) will host it’s first-ever Community Health Screening Clinic at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library (901 G Street, NW). The CBC Health Braintrust will feature free health screenings, information, and support services by many of the region’s leading healthcare providers and organizations. The screening clinic represents a significant collaboration between the CBC, local public health professionals, and community stakeholders to improve public health outcomes for residents. DC Health Link will exhibit at the Community Clinic and provide attendees with information about the ACA and DC Health Link. DC residents will be encouraged to enroll in quality, affordable health insurance during the 3rd open enrollment period from November 1, 2015 - January 31, 2016.
