DC Health Link business partner, The DC Chamber of Commerce, will host the first installment of their DC Health Link Seminar Series.  This installment will cover two tax areas.  The first discussion area will be on Office in the Home-Simplified Option – covers simplifying the calculation and recordkeeping requirements of allowable deductions. The second discussion area will cover Record Keeping – offering tax tips for business record keeping and explaining the benefits of keeping records. Marie Wright, Internal Revenue Service’s Stakeholder Liaison, will deliver both presentations in this two hour session.  DC Health Link representatives will be on-site to provide free enrollment assistance and information about health insurance for business and employees through DC Health Link. Questions will be answered and information will be provided about the Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP), tax credits, and the insurance purchasing power that small businesses now have through DC Health Link.
