At the Washington Conference Capital District Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, where pastors, clergy staff, and lay leaders will gather for the annual conference, DC Health Link Assister organization, the African Methodist Church Religious, Educational and Charitable Development Projects, Inc. (AME-RED), will provide conference attendees with information and educational materials about the ACA and DC Health Link.  Many of the conference attendees serve churches located in the District of Columbia, as well as nearby suburban communities that have influential constituencies who live in the District of Columbia and/or who have family members who attend DC churches. Certified In-Person Assistors will exhibit materials designed to inform and inspire the attendees and their congregations to use the DC Health Link marketplace to enroll uninsured District of Columbia residents in health insurance. Additionally, the Assistors will provide information on financial help with monthly premium reductions, answer questions, and provide free enrollment assistance.
