Mayor Muriel Bowser will ring the bell to kick off open enrollment—encouraging DC residents to sign-up for health insurance at DCHealthLink.com, the District’s state-based health insurance exchange established under the Affordable Care Act.  She will be joined at the press conference by Mila Kofman, Executive Director of the DC Health Benefit Exchange Authority. Residents enrolled in DC Health Link will speak. After the press conference, Mayor Bowser will tour the onsite enrollment center witnessing live enrollment in action. DC Health Link certified Assisters will be on site to provide in-person education and enrollment assistance to District consumers as well as answer questions, and provide information about Medicaid options and financial help with plan premiums.
