New Year's is the traditional time to set new goals and resolutions, especially resolutions to improve one’s health and fitness. January is a busy month at fitness centers across the country.  DC Health Link has partnered with LA Fitness to host a series of information and enrollment events during the month of January to promote health and wellness – as well as enrollment in quality affordable health insurance coverage through DC Health Link. Trained experts will be onsite with information and to provide enrollment assistance. Special offers such as “One Week Sports Club Passes” and “low health club rates” for January will be available to encourage consumers to kick start their New Year’s health and wellness goals.

The “Shape-Up, Sign-Up” campaign will inspire consumers to stay heathy, to help ensure that DC remains the fittest city in the country and at the same time to emphasize the importance of protecting one’s health by enrolling in quality, affordable health coverage through DC Health Link. Other “Shape Up, Sign Up” events at LA Fitness will take place Monday, January 11, 2016 and Thursday, January 14 and 28 from 5 pm to 7:30 pm.
