DC Health Link and its community partner, La Clinica del Pueblo, will participate in La Fiesta Del Barrio which is an outdoor annual block party that takes place in Mt. Pleasant, DC during Hispanic Heritage Month. It is an opportunity for La Clinica to host one of the best grassroots Latino events in the DMV where the community is central to its success. Through the experience of cultural entertainment, art, food, dance and health activities, each attendee will leave feeling part of a larger community and driven to ensure it remains an inclusive and just community that fosters health for all. DC Health Link Certified Assisters will be on-site to provide in-person education and enrollment assistance to District consumers, information about the Special Enrollment Period, as well as answer questions about Medicaid options and financial help with plan premiums.
