The Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GWHCC), a DC Health Link business partner, will host a webinar on Managing Stress & Anxiety. A Guide for Small Businesses. Gain the tools to manage and improve your health during these unprecedented times. This year has been tough for many small business owners – not only have they had to deal with the normal challenges of running a business, but they’ve also had to tackle the hardships that have come with COVID-19 which in turn, affect their mental health. During this series discover how these entrepreneurs have been feeling and learn about the red flags when mental health must become a priority. The third session is Supporting Your Staff’s Wellbeing Is Not Too Difficult If You Know How to Do It. Small-business owners are not only responsible for the health of the business, but also for their staff wellbeing. This workshop helps owners identify whether an employee is experiencing a mental health problem. It teaches participants how to discuss mental health with employees and provides general tips for employers to keep their employees mentally safe, beyond the protocols to ensure their physical health and safety.
