DC Health Link is hitting the road and taking to the streets of the District with a health insurance “CARE-A-VAN” on Thursday, November 1, 2018. The day will begin with a Mayoral press conference at Freedom Plaza, where Mayor Bowser will ring in the start of Open Enrollment Season 2019. Following the press conference, the health insurance “CARE-A-VAN” will travel to various points in the District to meet residents. Certified and trained Assisters will be staffing multiple mobile units and vehicles with information about DC Health Link, FREE one-on-one enrollment support, financial assistance for reduced monthly premium payments, and Medicaid eligibility. They will also answer questions and offer application assistance.
