This event, sponsored by Beyond the Veil Worship Center, is free open to the public and is aimed to increase health and wellness awareness by providing health screenings, activities, demonstrations, fitness activities, food tastings, nutritional demonstrations, and health information. The event strives to increase awareness of health/wellness services and resources and in turn empower community residents to make positive health and wellness changes. DC Health Link certified Assisters will be on site to provide in-person education and enrollment assistance to District consumers as well as answer questions, and provide information about Medicaid options and financial help with plan premiums.
