DC Health Link in partnership with the Campaign to Reduce Lead Exposure and Childhood Asthma, will sponsor a virtual town hall on “Lead in DC Drinking Water: Protecting Yourself and Your Family." This event will feature a panel of experts who will discuss important topics related to lead in drinking water, including testing for lead in young children, preventing exposure to lead in drinking water, and getting lead service lines replaced in DC. The event will provide an opportunity for DC residents to learn more about the dangers of lead in drinking water and what they can do to protect themselves and their families. Attendees will hear from experts in the field and ask questions to gain a better understanding of the issues at hand. DC Health Link representatives will be on hand to share information about the important of health insurance and now that Open Enrollment has ended, how one may still can enroll through the Special Enrollment Period with a qualifying life changing event.
