The District of Columbia Health Benefit Exchange Authority is pleased to announce that it has released a Request for Proposal for an Exchange Contact Center on Thursday, April 18, 2013. The selected contractor will design, staff, train customer service representatives and operate a contact center with functionality to inform and assist consumers with health care coverage questions, including those on eligibility and enrollment for Medicaid, Exchange Individual Health Insurance Policies, and Small Employer Policies, in the District of Columbia. Operations of the Exchange Contact Center are expected to commence in the late summer of 2013.
