I signed up for January 1 coverage. What do I need to do next?
You need to make your first month’s premium payment. You should not wait until you get an invoice to make this payment. Please use the phone number below to call your health insurance company to make the payment over the phone. If you do not make your first month’s payment by your health insurance company’s payment deadline your coverage may be delayed or cancelled.
You should call even if you already have auto-payment established with your health insurance company because you may need to set this up again for your new plan.

I was enrolled in a plan through DC Health Link during 2014 and received a bill for the same plan I had last year even though I signed up for a different plan for 2015. What should I do?
DC Health Link sent new 2015 plan information to the health insurance companies in mid-December. Some of the insurance companies are still processing this information, which is why you may have received a bill for your old plan. Please contact the health insurance company for your 2015 plan as soon as possible to be sure that they have processed the updated information.
