DC Health Benefit Exchange Authority, Deputy Director for Policy and Programs, Debra Curtis, will serve as a panelist in the session entitled, “Prospects for Repeal, Replace, and Repair of the Affordable Care Act.” Other panelists include, John O’Brien, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, Dan Todd, Todd Strategy and Rodney L. The Council’s Committee on Health will hold its FY16 &17 Performance Oversight Hearing of the DC Health Benefit Exchange Authority before Committee Chairman Vincent Gray. Mila Kofman, Executive Director of the DC Health Benefit Exchange Authority (HBX), will present testimony on behalf of the DC Heath Benefit Exchange. Supporters, Assisters and community leader will testify at the hearing about the work of DC Health Link over the past year and how it has performed.  They will also share thoughts and recommendations about the future of the online marketplace.

DC Health Benefit Exchange Authority Executive Director, Mila Kofman, will serve as a discussant at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) and AcademyHealth’s grantee briefing as part of the Policy-Relevant Insurance Studies (PRIS) grant series, funded by RWJF. The briefing will provide grantees with feedback from a select group of participants with research and policy expertise in the subject area, with the goal of assisting the researchers as they complete their work and plan for upcoming dissemination activities. Ms.

DC Health Benefit Exchange Authority’s Executive Director, Mila Kofman, will be a featured speaker at the Annual Board of Directors, Executive Team and Medical Executive Team Retreat at the United Medical Center. During the retreat, entitled, “Plan Today for a Healthier Tomorrow: Quality, Safety and Outcomes,” Ms. Kofman will share information about the DC Health Link and the insights about health insurance reform.
