From January 25-28, DC residents are invited to enroll at in-person enrollment events taking place this weekend, where they will receive free expert enrollment support
D/DB/DD/HH/LD Special In-Person Enrollment
Details: In partnership with the Mayor’s Office Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing (MODDBHH), DC Health Link is reaching out to the D/DB/DD/HH/LD communities to encourage residents to enroll in quality, affordable health insurance before the January 31 deadline. FREE expert enrollment support from licensed certified brokers and certified assisters, identity proofing, insurance program eligibility determination, and residency verification services will be available. ASL interpreters will be onsite to facilitate the enrollment process.

Wednesday Clergy Fellowship
DC Health Link will share information with local faith leaders about health insurance options through DCHealthLink.com. The discussion will also include steps to enroll in quality, affordable health insurance, access to lower monthly premiums, financial help, FREE enrollment support and more. Faith leaders will be asked to urge uninsured residents to enroll before the January 31 deadline. "Eatery Take-Out” Insert Campaign
DC Health Link will partner with Chick-fil-A, Ben’s Chili Bowl, and other local eateries to spread the word about enrolling in health insurance before the January 31 deadline. DC Health Link’s OPEN ENROLLMENT INSERT cards will be placed within every curbside to-go and take-out orders. The QR code will make it easy and convenient to access enrollment information and quality, affordable health plans with premiums as low as $13/month. Enrollment Week of Action: The Color Purple Movie
The Color Purple” follows an African American teenager named Celie being raised in rural Georgia in the early 1900s. Through letters written by Celie to God, the story follows Celie’s struggle with an abusive father, teenage pregnancy, and abusive marriage. DC Health Link outreach teams will be at the theater to distribute information and answer Questions to residents about health insurance options through DC Health Link. Uninsured residents will be reminded to act now and enroll in health insurance through DCHealthLink.com before the January 31 deadline.
