Don’t miss this exciting spirit-filled afternoon to celebrate the kickoff of the Affordable CareAct 2nd Open Enrollment Period and the DC faith community’s initiative, Faith in Action, designed to actively engage the faith community in the campaign to reach and enroll District residents and small businesses in affordable health insurance plans.
CVS Project Health Day
DC Health Link staff will be available to meet with residents and to introduce them to the District’s new online marketplace for health insurance. Trained experts will be on-site with information about affordable health insurance coverage and financial help. They will answer questions, and offer enrollment and renewal application support. While there, consumers can take advantage of CVS’ health screening opportunities to include: blood pressure checks, cholesterol checks, and weight checks.

DC Health Link staff will be available to meet residents and to provide them with information about the benefits of affordable health insurance, Medicaid options, and about financial help. Event Cancelled - One Touch Enrollment Event
Due to a system upgrade and maintenance, the One Touch Enrollment event scheduled for today, November 22, 2014 from 9 am to n oon, is canceled. The next enrollment event will take place Sunday, November 23, 2 pm, at Nineteenth Street BC, 4606 16th Street, NW.
One Touch Enrollment Event
DC Health Link, in partnership with the Department of Human Services (DHS) and the Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF) has established One Touch Enrollment Centers designed to provide onsite health insurance enrollment services and resources, including on-site identity verification, Medicaid case management, financial help, and the enrollment support. These “one-stop shop of services” will include DC Health Link certified Assisters and licensed health insurance brokers who will provide information, answer questions, and help with enrollment and selection of insurance plan coverage.

Faith-in-Action Sunday
The faith based community kicks off the Affordable Care Act 2nd Open Enrollment Period with a special gospel concert and service at the Nineteenth Street Baptist Church, 4606 16th Street, NW. The day will feature health screenings, DC Health Link Information booths and Assisters who will provide enrollment and renewal support.
Health Link at Ministry of Justice and Health and Healing
A DC Health Link representative will be available to answer questions for church members and the community about the Affordable Care Act, DC Health Link – the District’s online health insurance marketplace, Medicaid options , enrollment assistance, financial help, and the enrollment deadlines.. For those who already have health insurance, information about the renewal process will be available as well. Don’t miss this opportunity to get in-person enrollment support.
