Along with meeting teachers, and your child’s friends, information will be available that can impact your child’s health. DC Health Link Assisters will be on-site to provide information about the Affordable Care Act (ACA), the new online market place, DC Health Link, and the new Medicaid and eligibility options. Along with a variety of activities, Assisters will be prepared to answer questions and assist with enrollment. Activities include enrollment booths, exhibits, information tables, FREE health screenings, motivational speakers, yoga demonstrations, live music, activities for children, giveaways, and more.

 DC Health Link teams up again with the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to celebrate with the Latino community with access to improved health care options. DC Health Link will be on hand to provide information of the Affordable Care Act, DC Health Link – DC’s Health Insurance marketplace, and Medicaid options. Over 180 thousand attendees are anticipated for this year’s festival that is in its 43rd year.

Over 35,000 DC and community residents are anticipated to enjoy the multitude of diverse retailers, food and craft vendors, nonprofits, specialty products, and artists.
