DC Health Link at 17th Street Festival

DC Health Link and the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce join together in this festive community event to provide health insurance information, answer questions regarding DC Health Link,  and celebrate in this 5th annual Community Festival. This community event celebrates the 17th Street Corridor from Riggs Place to P Street, and will feature an Art Show – Business Specials – Entertainment Stage – Kids Zone Sponsored – Local Vendors – Pet Zone by City Dogs Rescue.

DC Health Link at OLA Hispanic Heritage Month Youth

DC Health Link assisters will be available to kick-off this festivity with Office of Latino Affairs Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations and will honor the Latino youth in our community. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about how the various ways to get information and insurance through DC Health Link.  The event will be comprised of a live talent show, youth soccer tournament, food, and live music.

In celebration of the 193 Anniversary of El Salvador, DC Health Link have representatives will be on hand to provide materials and answer questions about health care coverage options for DC residents and small businesses.

DC Health Link at Mid-Maryland Mission of Mercy and Health Equity Festival

DC Health Link will present informational materials, and communicate with DC residents and small business owners about the new online market place, DC Health Link, and health insurance options. A representative will be available to assist with any questions during this collaborative event with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the United States government’s principal agency for protecting the health of all Americans by building blocks that Americans need to live healthy, successful lives.

DC Health Link at St. Paul AME Church

DC Health Link Assisters will provide an opportunity for attendees to learn about the Affordable Care Act - the new health law, the District’s new online health insurance marketplace - DC Health Link, and Medicaid options. An exhibit of DC Health Link materials will also be provided. 

DC Health Link at Brightwood Park United Methodist Church

DC Health Link, in collaboration with Brightwood Park United Methodist Church, supports individuals taking an active role in maintaining physical and emotional health. For this reason  a DC Health Link representative will present information about the Affordable Care Act, the District’s new online health insurance marketplace - DC Health Link, as well as Medicaid options followed by an opportunity for Q & A. This 2-day event will consist of a health fair from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm on Saturday, and messages on spiritual health and a fellowship dinner on Sunday.

DC Health Link Assisters will present information and answer questions at this Latino soccer game sponsored by AARP.  Like AARP, DCHL seeks opportunities that enhance the quality of life for all and champions positive social change through access to health insurance.
