DC Health Link, in partnership with the Department of Human Services (DHS) and the Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF) will host a series of One Touch Enrollment Centers designed to provide on-site health insurance enrollment services and resources to DC residents, small businesses and their employees.
DC Health Link trained experts will be available on-site at CVS stores to provide consumers with information and enrollment assistance.
While residents wash clothes and wait for them to dry, DCHL certified assisters and licensed health insurance brokers will set up shop at local Laundromats to provide information about the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and DC Health Link, the District’s new online marketplace for health insurance. Consumers will receive information about health insurance plans that meet their needs and budgets.

Connect DC is looking to “do something better” with a nonprofit technology summit to learn how you can work smarter, improve productivity and support the city's efforts to bridge the digital divide in one’s community. DC Health Link will exhibit and present information so that DC residents and small business owners can “do something better” about health insurance.
Community college students, who work their way through school in the service industries, take care of their families and study in between, often do so without health insurance coverage.
DC Health Link certified In-Person Assisters will partner with Pilgrim Rest BC to host a faith and community based DC Health Link Enrollment event to reach uninsured DC residents where they live, work, play and pray. In between morning and noon services, residents and members will have the opportunity to ask health insurance questions and get enrolled on the spot, the last Sunday of the month! DC Health Link faith-based initiative is designed to actively engage faith leaders in the campaign to educate and enroll District residents, small businesses and employees in affordable health insurance coverage. As a major component of the faith-based initiative, DC Health Link assister organization, Leadership Council for Healthy Communities (LCHC), has daily enrollment hours at its location.
A DC Health Link representative will present information about the Affordable Care Act (ACA), the new online market place, DC Health Link, and the new Medicaid and eligibility options.
DC Health Link “meets people where they are.” Good Success Christian Church & Ministries, a partner organization, will provide In-Person Assisters to conduct an on-site information/enrollment event. Assisters will be available to provide information, answer questions, and enroll residents in affordable public and private health insurance plans.
