As the March 31st deadline rapidly approaches, DC Health Link continues to bring enrollment assistance to consumers in every ward in the city. This weekend’s enrollment event will provide residents, small business owners and their employees who live in Wards 5 & 6 the opportunity to sign up for affordable, quality health insurance that meets their needs and budgets.

DC Health Link “DC Health Link on Ice” – Seasonal Enrollment Event

Ice skating is a fun winter activity for the entire family, but skating without health insurance is like skating on thin ice!  For those consumers who can’t make it to Sochi this Olympic Season, there’s no need to fret. They can still score a bronze, gold, silver or platinum health coverage plan by enrolling in affordable health care at our upcoming National Youth Enrollment Day ice skating event Saturday, February 15, 2014.

DC Health Link "Health Insurance Enrollment Education Summit"

The deadline to have health insurance is fast approaching.  Don’t wait—get enrolled today.  Everyone must have health insurance by March 31 to avoid paying a penalty, unless they qualify for premium reductions or tax credits.  Come to Brown Memorial where DCHL Assisters and insurance brokers will provide information about eligibility for premium credits and federal subsidies and will enroll DC residents in a health plan that covers doctor visits, hospitalizations, maternity care, emergency room visits, prescriptions and more.

DCHL “Calling All DC Artists” – Targeted Enrollment Event

Like small business professionals, entertainers are also in need of health insurance.  ERFSC has created a special education and enrollment activity for artists to learn about the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and DC Health Link. An opportunity to enroll in affordable health care insurance will be offered.  In addition, time will be devoted to the artists producing a PSA to broadcast over social media. The PSA will be used to help reach other artists and their followers  to learn about the ACA and affordable health insurance plans.

DC Health Link at Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton Annual Tax and Information Fair

Annually, over 200 DC residents attend Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton’s Tax and Information Fair. DC Health Link assister organization, Assist DC, has partnered with the fair organizers to provide onsite health insurance enrollment and resources to DC residents for an effective one-stop shop of services. More than 30 certified In-Person Assisters and licensed health insurance brokers will provide enrollment support services.

National Youth Enrollment Day - DC Health Link at Union Market

DC Health Link assister organization,  DC: Capital City Area Health Education Center and the Young Invincibles will educate and enroll young DC residents at Union Market during a local festival.  In person assisters and licensed broker will be on site to provide additional information, answer questions about enrollment.
