DC Health Link assister organization, Leadership Council for Healthy Communities (LCHC) will hold an "Open House Enrollment Day" to enroll uninsured DC residents in affordable health coverage thru the District new online health insurance marketplace, DC Health Link.  Certified Assisters and licensed brokers will be onsite to share information, to answer questions, and to help enroll residents in affordable private and public health plans.  To get an enrollment checklist, visit www.dchealthlink.com.

DCHL Assisters will operate a mini enrollment center at this Happy Hour. With information at every table and a booth to provide enrollment assistance and to make appointments, the Assisters will walk to tables and talk to young patrons about the important of having health insurance. They will not only answer questions about the ACA and DC Health link, but they will also ask questions (Do you have health coverage? Are you comfortable with it? How do you feel about the Affordable Care Act.)
