DC Health Link is proud to partner with the Mayor’s Office on Deaf, Deaf-Blind, and Hard of Hearing Affairs to host targeted enrollment events for the Deaf, Deafblind, and Hard of Hearing community in the District. The event is designed to connect with the D/DB/DD/HH/LD community. This event provides an environment to learn about health insurance options, ask questions, and enroll with the help of certified brokers.
Ahead of the Washington Commanders playing in the conference championship for the first time since 1991, DC Health Link is partnering with local pizza restaurants to place enrollment reminder stickers on all pizza boxes with QR codes for residents to start enrolling right away. The District’s faith community has been an invaluable partner in the effort to reach, educate, and enroll consumers in quality, affordable health insurance. They have been engaged in helping spread the word about the January 31 health insurance enrollment deadline. DC Health Link certified Assisters, brokers and volunteers will be onsite after morning worship service at several faith-based institutions to distribute enrollment information, answer questions and enroll uninsured residents in quality, affordable health insurance.
DC Health Link partnered with Ben’s Chili Bowl to inform residents about the January 31 open enrollment deadline. As customers enjoy Ben’s famous chili and other delicacies, they will learn more about health plans offered through http://DCHealthLink.com and the importance of enrolling in quality, affordable health insurance. On site enrollment with expert enrollment support will take place at Ben’s and other location throughout the District. Branded DC Health Link promotional products will be given to customers.

Pastors and clergy leaders will speak from their pulpits about the need to be insured and urge their congregants to enroll. DC Health Link literature will be distributed to congregants.
As a part of its Faith-in-Action outreach program, DC Health Link partnered with the Our Lady Queen of the Americas Catholic Church to bring health insurance information and enrollment services directly to DC Spanish-speaking Catholic parishioners. Bilingual experts will be available to meet with residents and provide information about quality affordable health insurance coverage and premium reductions. They will answer questions and offer enrollment and renewal application support.

The One Touch Enrollment events will provide free one-on-one virtual health insurance enrollment support services and resources including identity proofing and verification, insurance program eligibility, Medicaid enrollment, information about lower premiums, and legal assistance.
