East of the River Fall Festival

DC Health Link and its community partner, Whitman-Walker Health, will participate in East of the River Fall Festival, an annual back-to-school drive and community block party hosted at the Max Robinson Center in the Ward 8 Anacostia neighborhood. Each year, this free festival brings together multiple organizations, partners and community members for an afternoon of live performances, GO-GO music, food, HIV testing and fun! National Night Out is a community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
