Fiesta Asia Street Fair features over 1000 performers, artisans, entrepreneurs, food, and vendors on multiple stages and stations representing more than 20 cultures for 8 consecutive hours to create the festivities that are enjoyed by thousands of visitors. The Mayor’s Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs (MOAPIA) will sponsor a community fair and resource festival to include lively cultural performances from diverse cultures. The festival will also feature martial arts demonstrations, family-friendly activities such as face painting, henna, calligraphy, clothing swap, raffle, Asian arts and crafts and informational booths from community-based organizations and District agencies. DC Health Link outreach teams will be at the theater to distribute information to residents about health insurance.
