A Quest for Policy Stability -- Achieving The Wellness Society
The 6th Annual Legends in Action Picnic is hosted by DMV-Athletes In Action, Inc., a group of former athletes committed to promoting health, fitness and wellness for its members, and supporters. The event attracts more than 700 athletes, friends and families of all ages (youths to seniors) for a day of reunion, celebration, recreation and fun. The picnic honors notable individuals who have made substantial contributions to athletes and youth in the District, Maryland and Virginia. The event, will feature Radio ONE’s WOL 1450-AM broadcasting “live” from the picnic site.
The 11th Annual City-Wide Truck Touch event will feature a variety of free activities for kids and adults. A host of DC government agencies will present and demonstrate nearly 30 vehicles used to clean and repair streets, change traffic lights, collect refuse, clear snow, provide emergency services, administer mobile healthcare, and more. Free boxed lunches will be provided to kids age 18 and under.
Ward 4 Councilmember Brandon Todd will host the 18th Annual Ward 4 Family Fun Day.
