The DC Chamber of Commerce Choice Awards and Gala will host its annual awards gala designed to celebrate the local business trailblazers who have created innovative solutions to issues facing the community. This year’s event is themed, “Transformation. Innovation,” and will be hosted by local news anchor, Erika Gonzalez of NBC4. The celebrated honorees include Wanda Durant (Economic Impact Award), Social Driver Co-Founders, (Business Leaders of the Year), Corey Griffin (Special Recognition: Business Recovery Leadership Award), and businesses WPFW 89.3 (Community Impact Award), Hoffman-Madison Waterfront (Business of the Year), and JMA Solutions (Veteran Impact Award) . The Chairman’s Choice Awards will be given to Brett Greene and Stacy Burnette for their service on the Board of Directors and for leading the Government Relations committee. Dr. Carolyn Rudd will be honored for serving as the chairman of the DC Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors for the last two years. Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser will present special remarks.
