DC Health Link “DC Health Link on Ice” – Seasonal Enrollment Event

Last Date:

Location:
202 M Street, SE
Building:
Washington Canal Ice Rink
Details:

Ice skating is a fun winter activity for the entire family, but skating without health insurance is like skating on thin ice!  For those consumers who can’t make it to Sochi this Olympic Season, there’s no need to fret. They can still score a bronze, gold, silver or platinum health coverage plan by enrolling in affordable health care at our upcoming National Youth Enrollment Day ice skating event Saturday, February 15, 2014.

DC’s newest ice skating rink will host DC Health Link Assisters who will don their ice skates and dispatch onto the ice to reach out to young Invincibles (ages 25-35) to answer questions, provide them information about the importance of getting covered and enroll them in health insurance plans that meet their needs and budgets.

Residents ready to begin the enrollment process on-site can do so with the help of DC Health Link’s Connect-DC's mobile enrollment center, which will be stationed outside of the rink. Trained experts, DC Health Link assisters and licensed health insurance brokers, will also be available to help sign residents up in health plans.  It is important to note that consumers who do not have the proper health coverage are putting themselves at risk for major illness or injury. So don’t skate on thin ice this winter. Get covered by choosing a winning health insurance plan through DCHealthLink.com before the March 31st deadline.

.Event onsite contact: Kishan Putta (202) 320.0058.  To get a copy of the enrollment checklist, visit www.dchealthlink.com.
