Quality Trust for Individuals with Disabilities is collaborating with community partners to host a pediatric health forum on obesity and asthma. DC Health Link, the District’s new health insurance marketplace, will have certified assisters on-site to answer questions and provide enrollment opportunities that meet the budgets and needs of DC residents, small businesses and their employees. When applying, consumers will learn if they are eligible for Medicaid or financial assistance with private health insurance premiums as well as for reduced out-of-pocket health expenses. Healthy Snacks, Zumba and door prizes will be available!
