Details: In partnership with the Mary’s Center), DC Health Link will host a town hall conversation, “Get Health Smart: Now that You’re Covered, Make Your Health Insurance Work for You.” Specifically designed for Mary’s Center staff and associates, this virtual session will provide information about the value of health insurance and how enrollees can take full advantage of benefits offered from their coverage. The complexity of health insurance choices can be overwhelming to many consumers. The need to understand health plan features is essential because health insurance coverage impacts access to health care services. This town hall conversation will also focus on what consumers need to know to choose plans that work best for them and their families. Attendees will be guided through Smart Actions to take with health insurance.
