DC Health Benefit Exchange Authority executive director, Mila Kofman, will join NASHP for a new webinar examining the state role in prohibiting discrimination under the ACA. The  panel of experts—representing insurance marketplaces, state departments of insurance, carrier and consumer advocates, and researchers—will discuss impacts of nondiscrimination requirements on insurance markets as well as questions that remain regarding enforcement and future concerns for meeting non-discrimination concerns. Other panelist will include, David Cusano, Senior Research Fellow, Georgetown University Health Policy Institute; Johanna Fabian-Marks, Special Deputy, Pennsylvania Department of Insurance , Lisa Campbell, Principal, Groom Law Group, Tammy Killion, Principal, Groom Law Group; and Wayne Turner, Staff Attorney, National Health Law Program
The panel will be facilitated by Trish Riley, Executive Director, National Academy for State Health Policy.
