Details: DC Health Link will join Leadership Council for Healthy Communities and Pennsylvania Avenue Baptist Church for their Juneteenth celebration, a day set aside to recognize the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. The Juneteenth holiday event will host local vendors offering their creations, wares, and products. Several health screenings and testing opportunities will be provided including COVID-19 vaccinations and testing as well as kidney, blood pressure, breast cancer and cholesterol screenings. Games and food trucks will also be available.   DC Health Link will be on site to share information about health insurance plans and opportunities for uninsured persons to enroll in health insurance.
