Details: DC Health Link will join Covenant Baptist United Church of Christ for their Juneteenth event, a day set aside to recognize the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. The event will feature youth from Ward 8 schools who are finalists in an oratory contest as well as finalists in an original artwork contest. Persons in attendance will have access to COVID vaccinations and testing. Persons will also enjoy games, music, and food trucks. DC Health Link will be on site to share information about health insurance plans through DC Health Link. Opportunities for uninsured persons to enroll in health insurance will also be available.
