DC Health Link partners with the Latino Student Fund, an organization that provides opportunities for a strong academic foundation to underserved PreK-12th-grade students of Hispanic descent. By providing year-round, out-of-school-time programs for low-income, at-risk students and their families, they increase levels of educational attainment in the community and promote higher education and professional leadership. DC Health Link staff will be present at the Gala to meet and engage with members of the Latino community to inform them of the value of health insurance and to encourage enrollment.
