The Far Southeast Family Strengthening Collaborative’s Ward 8 Drug-Free Coalition will host the Annual Safe Summer 2017 Kick-Off. The purpose of this event is to inform and engage residents with wholesome programs and services that will help keep our youth safe and reduce the crime and violence in Ward 8. It is an opportunity for children and young adults to become knowledgeable of services and resources that will stimulate and challenge them throughout the summer and beyond.
The GWHCC CBE Certification Workshop will offer small business owners an insight about the requirements of the Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) program and how this program helps position their business to better compete in DC government contracting opportunities.
