DC Health Link at FINAL PUSH to January 31st Deadline Rush Hour “Fact Mobs” at Metro Stops
January 31, 2017 is the final deadline for District residents to enroll in a health plan for 2017 coverage beginning March 1st (special enrollment periods may be possible). With this deadline approaching, DC Health Link will help last minute shoppers get enrolled in health insurance by passing out information at local metro stops and directing consumers to nearby enrollment centers. In addition to regular enrollment center hours citywide, several locations will have extended hours.

On the final weekend before the January 31st enrollment deadline, DC Health Link will crisscross the city in a 24 Hour Plus Enrollment Marathon-Relay to make sure residents in high uninsured areas (Wards 4,5,6,7,8) have ample opportunities to enroll in affordable quality health insurance.

DC Health Link at MLK, JR PEACE WALK AND PARADE
DC Health Link and its assister partner, Community of Hope, will march in the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. who said, “Of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health care is the most shocking and inhumane." While marching in the parade, DC Health Link staff and Community of Hope assisters will hold banners to remind residents to enroll in quality health insurance by the extended January 17 deadline for coverage beginning February 1st. The last day for 2017 open enrollment is January 31st deadline.
DC Health Link at Faith-In-Action Sunday
DC Health Link’s Faith-In-Action initiative was designed to engage the faith community in supporting and assisting with outreach and enrollment efforts in their congregations and surrounding communities. DC Health Link certified assisters, application counselors, brokers and/or staff will provide information about quality affordable health insurance coverage through DC Health Link. They will answer questions, and offer enrollment and renewal application support.
