DC Health Link has established MLK, Jr. Library as one of 6 enrollment sites located throughout the city where certified In-Person Assisters will be available to enroll consumers in affordable, quality health insurance. Consumers will learn about the benefits of health insurance, Medicaid options, receive application and enrollment assistance, and financial help with plan payments. For those who already have health insurance, information on the renewal process will be available as well. Walk-ins, appointments and translation services will be accommodated at this site.

DC Health Link – Annual Safeway Feast of Sharing

DC Health Link certified assisters will provide information about health coverage options for individuals and families through DC Health Link, the District’s new online health insurance marketplace, as well as information about Medicaid options, financial assistance and the renewal process. Enrollment assistance will also be provided.  During the event, attendees will receive additional services from health  vendors who  promote health and wellness. Health screening including blood pressure and diabetes testing will also take place.

DC Health Link - CSOSA

DC Health Link staff will share information about the Affordable Care Act and DC Health link, the District’s  new health insurance online marketplace. Information about Medicaid options under the ACA as well as financial assistance will be discussed.  This opportunity will provide resource information to incarcerated individuals who are within 90 days of release and return to the community.

One Touch Enrollment Event

DC Health Link, in partnership with the Department of Human Services (DHS) and the Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF) has established One Touch Enrollment Centers designed to provide onsite health insurance enrollment services and resources, including on-site identity verification, Medicaid case management, financial help, and the enrollment support. These “one-stop shop of services” will include DC Health Link certified Assisters and licensed health insurance brokers who will provide information, answer questions, and help with enrollment and selection of insurance plan coverage.
