The Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GWHCC) and DC Health Link collaborated with the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs to offer health insurance information and enrollment services directly to consumers. The DC Health Link program manager will be on site to provide in-person education, information about the Special Enrollment Period and answer questions to Business Owners and Entrepreneurs about DC Health Link – the District’s online health insurance marketplace.

Intelligent Office “Financial planning for your business; Make your business more profitable” workshop

The Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GWHCC) and DC Health Link will join efforts to promote and educate DC business community about financial planning and making your business more profitable. This workshop will provide information about balancing personal and business life, and financial planning relating to the unique opportunities of owning and operating a small business. The DC Health Link program manager will be on site to provide in-person education and enrollment assistance to Small Business Owners and District consumers as well as answer questions.

DC Buys: Reverse Vendor Trade Fair 2019

DC Health Link and its business partner, the DC Chamber of Commerce, will participate in the 5th Annual DC Buys: Reverse Vendor Trade Fair. A DC Health Link program manager and certified brokers will be on site to provide in-person education, information about the Special Enrollment Period and answer questions to Business Owners and Entrepreneurs. At this event, local and regional vendors will have a unique opportunity to directly engage with District government program managers and procurement personnel.

43rd Annual GWHCC GALA

The GWHCC Annual Gala brings together all those who collaborate with, and are part of, the Hispanic business community in the region. In an effort to begin telling their story, the Chamber, in partnership with DC Health Link, is thrilled to announce the launching of the first ever GWHCC Hispanic Business Hall of Fame which will recognize business leaders whose achievements continue to promote and advance the economic climate of our communities.

If you are a business owner or if you aspire to launch a business soon, it is essential that you deeply understand your customer and that you know how to use that understanding to improve your product or service. In this workshop, participants will learn about customer discovery and how to use customer discovery to reinforce their business and prepare for growth.
