Latin American Youth Center Annual Gala
DC Health Link’s community partner the Latin American Youth Center (LAYC) provides opportunities for a strong academic foundation for underserved PreK-12th grade to promote higher education and professional leadership. DC Health Link staff will be present at the Gala to engage with members of the Latino community to inform them of the value of health insurance and to encourage enrollment.
Carlos Rosario “Achieving the Dream” Gala
This event celebrates the 50th anniversary of Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School, a longtime community partner of DC Health Link to reach and cover immigrant communities in DC. DC Health Link staff will be present at the Gala to engage with members of the Latino community, to inform them of the value of health insurance and to encourage enrollment.
Latino Student Fund 24th Annual Gala
DC Health Link partners with the Latino Student Fund, an organization that provides opportunities for a strong academic foundation to underserved PreK-12th-grade students of Hispanic descent. By providing year-round, out-of-school-time programs for low-income, at-risk students and their families, they increase levels of educational attainment in the community and promote higher education and professional leadership.
Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington Annual Meeting
DC Health Link business partner Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington holds its annual meeting for the region’s restaurant industry. DC Health Link outreach staff will table at this event and distribute small business health insurance information to small business owners restaruant owners attending this event. Enrollment will be encouraged.
Black Health Matters Spring Health Summit and Expo
DC Health Link assisters will be present at the Health Summit and Expo, which will feature an inspiring lineup of doctors, nurses, healthcare professionals, health and wellness advocates and influencers to educate and empower residents. The Assisters will distribute information and offer enrollment support to residents.
