The Washington DC Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, in partnership with Whitman Walker Health and Black Nurses Rock will hold this World AIDS Day event to memorialize the lives lost to this worldwide epidemic, celebrate the lives of those successfully living with HIV and AIDS and spread awareness to the local community to decrease the number of people newly acquiring this disease. DC Health Link outreach teams will distribute information to residents attending this event.
