This event, brought to you by DC’ Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED) in partnership with the DC Chamber of Commerce, will bring together researchers, retailers and policy makers to explore what data tells us about the availability of food in developing corridors and incentives to make nutritious food more readily available.  Can targeting economic development to specific economic, geographic and demographic factors close the grocery gap?
