The Employment Ministry of the Temple of Praise along with Ward 8 Councilmember Trayon White will sponsor this job and health fair for the residents of Congress Heights, a community experiencing unemployment and health challenges. There will be health screenings and employment opportunities. DC Health Link certified Assisters will be on site to provide in-person education and enrollment assistance to District consumers as well as answer questions, and provide information about Medicaid options and financial help with plan premiums.

The Council’s Committee on Health will hold its FY16 &17 Performance Oversight Hearing of the DC Health Benefit Exchange Authority before Committee Chairman Vincent Gray.
