The Mayor’s Office on African Affairs and the Mayor’s Office on African American Affairs will host a panel discussion with health professionals, art therapists and other service providers to discuss the impact of COVID-19 on the mental health of African children. Mental health service is one the 10 essential benefits of the Affordable Care Act and having health insurance in a major factor in getting appropriate care and treatment for mental health conditions.
