In the more than 35-year history of the AIDS fight in the U.S., few milestones stand taller than the Affordable Care Act (ACA).The Black AIDS Institute is partnering with organizations and community leaders to host half-day Black Healthcare Access Summits to educate the community on the ACA and promote open enrollment. DC Health Link certified Assisters will be on site to provide in-person education and enrollment assistance to District consumers as well as answer questions, and provide information about Medicaid options and financial help with plan premiums.
